Youth Groups at Pretty Pony Pastures

Youth Groups

Pretty Pony Pastures has been providing equestrian activities for Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and other youth groups since we opened in 2003.

All our activities follow the standards listed in Safety-Wise as to the adult-girl ratio and safety around horses as well as the guidelines of the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA), 4-H, and the Pony Club.

Your troop will experience a hands-on activities that are designed for your troop's age level and led by our trained staff, volunteers and Barn Buddies.

We have expanded our offerings at each level because Scout leaders have requested additional programs for their troops! Click on the links at the bottom of this page for details on each Scout level program.

We can also accomodate special requests - such as a Horse Day for your neighborhood, successive weeks of riding instead of just one, or a Hooked on Horsessm week designed for your troop or neighborhood.

We can be reached by email or call 248.634.7276 to schedule a visit.

Scout and other youth groups can be scheduled throughout the year on Saturday or Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm or 4:00 pm. and on weekday mornings or afternoons during the summer.
Please check our on-line calendar for availability.
