Pretty Pony Pastures has been providing equestrian activities for Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and other youth groups since we opened in 2003.
In addition to traditional horseback riding opportunities, we also provide:
Farm Day! held in conjuction with KeiLin Farm, bring the classroom to the farm.
S.T.E.M. explores how science, technology, engineering, and mathematics play an important role in horse and farm life.
Horses and Leadership shows how horses mirror the feelings and energy of the human and demonstrates how we can affect one another.
All our activities follow the standards listed in Safety-Wise as to the adult-girl ratio and safety around horses as well as the guidelines of the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA), 4-H, and the Pony Club.
Miss Linda, our instructor, is a Lifetime Member of Girl Scouts and holds a Masters Degree in Education.
Your group will experience hands-on activities that are designed for your group's age level and led by our trained staff, volunteers and Barn Buddies.
We can also accomodate special requests - such as a Horse Day for your neighborhood or successive weeks of riding instead of just one.
