Rider enjoying an open riding class at Pretty Pony Pastures

Open Riding Classes

Please click here for our COVID-19 Riding Guidelines.

Open riding classes are available throughout the year on Tuesday evenings, select weekend afternoons, and weekday afternoons (summer only). These are actual riding lessons designed for riders who are at least 7 years old and enjoy riding but cannot make the commitment to ride every week.

Parents and grandparents often use our open riding classes as a reward or a special outing for their child. These classes can also be used to evaluate whether our facility is a match for the rider.
Parents can also elect to ride with their child(ren) during these sessions.

Riding classes last approximately one hour and include horsemanship as well as riding.

All riding lessons are by appointment only.

Cost is $30/rider. Request more information by email or call 248.634.7276.
